“Born in the Sarthe region of Loire Valley country, Julien Vigneron discovered his passion for cooking in his early childhood. In 2001 he studied catering with a renowned professional where he developed his creativity and various techniques in the culinary arts. After a season at the Citadelle Vauban in 2014, he joined the staff at the Château de Chissay in 2015. The following year, he was directly named Souf-chef, and he occupied this important post for the three following years. In the spring of 2019, Julien Vigneron has taken over as Head Chef. His goal: to share his passion with you by offering gastronomical cuisine that takes advantage of the fine products of the region and respects their natural seasonal freshness.”
